Aravind is a hardcore Kannadiga born and brought up in “Namma Bengaluru”. When Kids started school here , it was getting difficult for them to communicate with family back in Bangalore. This made him realize the importance of extending this love of Kannada to both his kids and started teaching and communicating with them in Kannada then on. It is helping in a big way. Knowing to speak Kannada language will help them belong to a community and makes them feel part of something. It’s an identity . He is always passionate of 3 Ts, Teaching, Talking and tennis. He wanted to extend his service and share the love of Kannada by teaching to next generation of kids growing here in Atlanta. He looks forward to seeing Atlanta kids graduate the classes and speak good Kannada.
Aruna Harapanahalli moved from Mysuru to Alpharetta in 2015. Working as a Pre-School Teacher. Now, she is part of KKS – Cumming.
Bharathi Satish Kumar is from Bengaluru. She has been living in Georgia for the past 3 years. Her daughter Sachi is a Junior at Denmark High School and son Siddharth is a 4th grader at Brandywine Elementary School.
She is excited to be teaching young kids Kannada. Kannada is a beautiful language and she feels honored to be a part of this Kannadigaru team.
Deepa is a Bangalorean, residing in U.S from past 18+ years. It has been a great joy to teach Kannada to little kids. At the end of the day it gives her immense pleasure, that she is passing on our wonderful Heritage and Language down to future generations. She feels grateful to the Kannada Academy for giving her this opportunity.

She came to United States to join her spouse 13 years ago in 2007. She is a housewife.
She resides in Alpharetta GA. She started teaching in KKS-C from August 2020. She has a 10-year old daughter Disha, who is also a student of KKS. Her daughter likes Kannada school and enjoys her classes.
Jayashree Sajjan is from Chitradurga and has been living with her husband Veerendra Davangere in Georgia for 11 years now. With her son Yash studying Senior year in High school and daughter Gouri studying in 5th grade, Jayashree has been teaching Kannada since 2019 and enjoying her time with kids at KKS Cumming.
Jyothi Sanjay is from Bengaluru and lives in Johns Creek, GA.
She has a degree in B.Com. from Bangalore University.
She is a homemaker, has 2 kids and 1 of them is a student in KKS. She has been a part of KKS from 2019 as a teacher volunteer.
She loves teaching kids our "Matru Bhashe".
Manjula is from Dharwad. Joined KKS-Cumming in 2020. Always been proud of Kannada language and it gives me immense pleasure to teach the kids.

Padmini Vankayla has been living in Atlanta since 2009. She graduated from Georgia State University with an MS in Computer Science and works as a Software Engineer. She lives with her husband and 2 kids in Cumming. Padmini enjoys teaching Kannada to kids at KKS.
Mrs. Roopa Kaustar is very excited to be teaching your child at Kannadaacademy this year!. Roopa grew up in Mysuru and moved to USA in 2004. She has an Engineering Degree and currently is an IT professional. She stays in Cumming, GA with husband and 2 Beautifull kids.
She has been a proud volunteer to teach the kids at the cumming Kannada school since it was incorporated.
Shobha graduated with a degree in Commerce. She is a home-maker right now, has two wonderful kids and a very supportive husband. Ever since she was small, she has always wanted to teach kids, so she is grateful that to be teaching her mother tongue, Kannada.
Shraddha moved to the United States in late2010. She currently lives in Atlanta, GA.
Shraddha is a senior manager at Deloitte but in her spare time loves teaching Kannada to students at KKS.
Shraddha hails from Mangalore, Karnataka and holds an MBA in finance. Besides teaching, she prides herself in completingVidwat level in Bharatanatyam as well as she holds a passion for bhavageethe and Carnatic classical vocals.
Shraddha is married to Nandan Naik and is the mother to Parth Naik and Dharma Naik.
Shylaja moved to The US in 2009 first to Chicago after living in Europe. Since 2015, Cumming Georgia has been her home.
Shylaja has a bachelor's degree in law from Mysore University and has worked in Banks, IT and is currently working for Allstate. She enjoys being outdoors and to sing.
She has worked as a teacher here in the USA and has a certificate from a Montessori school, Chicago.
She loves being with kids and helps them understand concepts in a simple way. Shylaja has been with us since our school opened here in Cumming, Georgia.
Tejaswini.D is an Architect from Bengaluru residing in Cumming, GA with her husband Vikram and son Raghav who is a High School student.
Raghav enjoys being a student @ KKS since last year which encourages her to volunteer as Teacher. She expresses pleasure to be part of the KKS team and feels it's her small contribution towards growth of Kannada amongst our kids.
Vasudha moved to the US in 2011 after marriage. She has lived in Tennessee, Michigan and now finally settled in Marietta Georgia.
She holds a Masters degree in Computer engineering from Wesstern Michigan University, Kalamazoo Michigan. She currently works as a senior consultant in a Supply Chain company.
Vasudha has been passionate about Kannada for a very long time. She has hosted many stage shows in college/office in Kannada. She started teaching in the KKS starting 2020 and hopes to continue this as long as possible.
Sahana Jois is from Mysore and is currently living in Cumming, GA with her husband Swaroop Rao and two children, Ashwin and Sneha.
Sowmya Narasimhaiah moved to USA in 2012 to Pittsburgh, PA and has been residing in Cumming, GA since 2016. Married to Santosh Krishnmurthy, she has 2 kids Sinchana and Samarth.
Sowmya has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and works as Operations Manager at an IT consulting firm. She has been actively involved with voluntary services and cultural performances at Sangama (Kannada Koota of Pittsburgh),Chinmaya Mission of Pittsburgh, Sree Venkateshwara Temple and Nrupathunga Kannada Koota.
Rashmi moved to US in 2009 to Greenville, SC and now lives in Suwanee, GA.
She has her Bachelors in Business Management and Masters in Human Resources and Finance, US Paralegal certification from UCSD. She works as a Bankruptcy Paralegal.
Sandhya Prathap came to US in 2019 and lives in Cumming.
She has a BA degree in Economics.
Currently a home maker, she used to teach in Indonesia and India. She is also an artist and has tried her skills in Interior designing and interior decoration.
